What is pEERS® and what do you offer?

PEERS® is an evidence-based social skills group. It is often offered in a group setting, which is available through UCLA, where it was originally developed: https://www.semel.ucla.edu/peers. We offer individualized, one-on-one, PEERS® social skills treatment by certified providers trained at UCLA.

This modified one-on-one social skills training program would be suitable for someone who may not be a good fit for the group format. It is available for anyone struggling with social skills (e.g., anxiety, autism spectrum disorders, neurodevelopmental concerns, depression, ADHD, transitional times). Topics covered include: starting and ending conversations, planning get-togethers, how to handle bullying, and how to find sources of friends. Dating skills are covered for young adults.

What DOES SHORT TERM individual THERAPY and INDIVIDUAL COACHING COVER?

Individual Therapy and Coaching are developed to provide psychoeducation and brain-informed knowledge and intervention to improve performance at school, life, and in the community. Therapy and coaching draws from findings and strategies from current research and a strong evidence base.
